Under the Palms began here, in our studio in Goa, where the light filters through the trees, the air feels warm and still, and everything moves to a slower, more considered rhythm.
This collection is an ode to that way of living, shaped by nature, by the presence of the palms, and by the quiet beauty of choosing a different pace. Days here unfold gently, and in that softness, we found inspiration. We wanted to create pieces that feel effortless and light on the body, garments that move with you, softly, and invite a sense of ease into the everyday. Clothing that reflects a slower, more intentional way of being.
The prints began as hand-painted illustrations, created using Japanese paints, a process that allowed each palm to take on its own form, imperfect and expressive. There is something deeply personal in that meeting of worlds, technique and place, of memory and landscape. Shaped by our life here, and brought to life through careful craftsmanship, each piece carries that sense of balance, between structure and fluidity, strength and softness.
Made to be lived in, Under the Palms is our interpretation of this life, one that is rooted yet free, simple yet expressive, and grounded in the quiet poetry of everyday moments.
For this collection, we worked closely with our artisans to translate hand-painted palm illustrations onto silk, a process that balances precision with the beauty of the human touch. Each design began using Japanese paints, giving the palms an organic, expressive quality.
Printed onto fluid silk, the artwork softens and evolves, creating pieces that feel both refined and personal, a meeting of art, craftsmanship, and intention.
