SHIPPING

Once your order has been placed, it can not be cancelled or edited. If you have input the incorrect shipping details we will do our best to change the address on your parcel but once it has been processed at our warehouse this may not be possible. If it is not possible you will need to contact your courier.

We're very sorry if an item you received is not perfect. Please email us and we can resolve this for you as soon as possible. Please share photos of the damage so this can be logged in our system . We will do our best to resolve this issue which may include replacing the item if stock is available or providing a refund upon receipt of the item back at our warehouse.

Shipping from the UK, we use Royal Mail for standard shipping, FedEx for express tracked, or DHL for express signed for. Shipping from the EU we use Deutche Post for standarad shipping, DPD for express tracked, and DHL for express signed for. Please note that for the standard shipping options, the courier will hand your parcel over to your local postal service once it arrives in your country.

All orders placed before 3pm UK time, Monday to Friday will be dispatched within 24 hours of order confirmation. Orders placed between 3pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be dispatched on Monday. We will notify you as we process your order. Please allow extra time during public holidays, sale periods and seasonal holidays.

Yes, we offer a choice of tracked express shipping with FedEx from the UK, and DPD in the EU, or tracked and signed shipping with DHL from both locations.

We have set up facilities in the EU and the UK so that you will not need to pay import taxes and duties in these countries. For the rest of the world: You may be required to pay customs fees or taxes which are determined once a shipment reaches your home country and customs office. Taxes and duties are calculated by the courier and may need to be paid before you can receive your item. Each country has its own charges. Please be aware of your country's import structure and fees/limitations. We recommend contacting your local customs office for detailed information.

If you are a member of the EU, EEA or CH, we will ship your parcel from the Netherlands. The rest of the world is shipped from the UK.

We ship worldwide, there are currently shipping limitations to Belarus, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan and Darfur, South Sudan, Syria, Ukraine (Crimea) / Russia, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

We will send the tracking number to the email that you made the purchase with as soon as your item has been dispatched, and you can also find it in your account here. RETURNS

Due to the limited nature of our pieces, we do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different size or alternative item, we recommend purchasing the new item and following the returns process for the original item.

Your item must be returned to us within 30 days of purchase.

All full priced items are eligible for a refund. We do not accept returns on sale items apart from for UK customers. We do not accept returns on earrings, in compliance with UK Health and Hygiene Laws.

FARA Boutique does not refund original shipping fees, or extra duties and taxes incurred on your order.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our clear garment bags can be completely composted in your home compost, or you can reuse them for storage or mini bin bags. We recommend holding on to our paper envelopes and cardboard boxes, which can be reused in the event that you need to use a new envelope or box to post something.

All returns that arrive in great condition will be resold to another lucky customer. If a return in not returned in perfect condition, we either include it in a sample sale, or use it for marketing purposes. We are sure that we never dispose of any of our returns, to not further impact the global emissions that disposable fashion creates.

We ensure to minimise our carbon footprint every step of the way. All our items are produced in a very small area from seed to stitch, and travel by land during production, giving them a very small footprint. We also use non toxic dyes, methods such as digital printing to reduce water usage, and sustainably sourced fabrics, to ensure a non damaging environment.

Our clear garment bags are made from a plant based starch which breaks down over time. All of our parcel packaging is made from recycled and recyclable paper/cardboard materials.

We believe in looking after our clothes the best we can, and in the most sustainable way possible. You can find all the info you need on our Care Guide or follow the advice on the care label on your purchase. This way, you can make sure your precious pieces last years to come, while respecting the people who made them.

We use Azo-Free dyes, free of any compound that could be toxic or allergic to humans, animals or environment.

We take great care in sourcing our materials to ensure quality and sustainability. Our silk garments are 100% pure silk, silk crepe, and Wild Silk. Our plant based fabrics are Satin, Hemp Modal, Lyocell, and Organic Cotton. We also use chiffon, which we are working towards finding a more sustainable option.

All of our items are produced in Northern India, around Delhi, Jaipur and Varanasi, within a 500 mile radius of each other, giving the garment production cycle a very small carbon footprint.

We usually hold a sale at the end of each season. To receive notification of when a sale is about to start, please sign up to receive FARA Boutique emails at the bottom of any of our website pages.

We do not want to over-produce at FARA Boutique, and generate unneccessary waste, which is why we offer the option to 'preorder' on popular garments. This means you can guarantee a piece of exclusive clothing, before it sells out. Preorders must be paid in full, and your complete order will dispatch when the preorder item is back in stock.

In order to be as sustainable as possible, we usually only produce our garments in small quantities, and therefore they may sell out. We aim to top up some of our FARA Boutique favourites regularly, but a lot of our collections are limited edition and will not be returning in the future.
