The Fara Boutique Peacock Scarf is a truly unique and exotic piece, made from the highest quality silk, and inspired by the national bird of India - representing true beauty, awareness, and balance.

After a trip to visit the famous “aloo baba” in Pushkar, Rajasthan, Rachel and Fumie (our founders) found themselves witnessing one of the most spectacular settings they had ever seen. With the sun setting and the Aravali hills all around them, they were surrounded by hundreds of peacocks. It was an unforgettable experience for both, and they knew they had to find a way to bring this unique beauty back home with them.

The scarf’s delicate background patterns are inspired by the Amber Fort in Jaipur, and the lush peonies represent prosperity and romance. The middle rope symbolizes reincarnation, while the Hamsa hand provides protection against negative energy.

Each illustration is hand-painted with intricate Japanese watercolours, then digitally printed onto lustrous silk. The result is a stunning piece of wearable art that will elevate any outfit.
